"Hey Marcy!  I just wanted to give you an update on our little parrotlet, JJ.  He is an absolute delight!  Once I finally got over my fear of holding him, which was only a couple of days after I got him, we have had so much fun with him.  He has the cutest personality and is so smart.  I work with him daily as I am home all day.  He lets me know when he is done learning either by getting grumpy or just flying back to his cage.  I hear him during the day chattering and I swear I can hear phrases that I have been trying to get him to say or words from "You are my sunshine".  Thank you for everything you did to prepare us for our new, little family member."
